Because it is difficult for patients with auditory discriminatory problems to localise the source of sounds, background noises and useful sounds are also affected. By adjusting room orientation during listening both ears are trained to help decode the given signals. The sounds oscillate in adjustable speed from ear to ear. By using the DPT home the lateral width or the dosage of sound effects is possible.
